Dozens Killed in Israeli Strikes Across Gaza and Lebanon
November 10, 2024 – The humanitarian crisis in Gaza and Lebanon has worsened dramatically with a series of Israeli airstrikes that have killed dozens, adding further strain to a region already reeling from conflict and deprivation. The intensifying strikes, targeting northern Gaza and reaching deep into Lebanon, reflect a sharp escalation in violence that has drawn global attention.
Mass Casualties Reported in Northern Gaza and Lebanon

Israeli airstrikes on Sunday resulted in significant casualties in both Lebanon and the northern Gaza Strip. In Lebanon, the strikes targeted the village of Aalmat, north of Beirut. Twenty-three people were killed, with several more injured. This marked a significant shift, as Aalmat is far from Hezbollah’s traditional strongholds in southern Lebanon. The strikes flattened homes and damaged cars, while civilians scrambled to rescue survivors from the rubble.
In Gaza, a strike on a residential area in Jabaliya killed 17 people, including nine women. The Jabaliya refugee camp, one of the most densely populated areas, has been under relentless bombardment. The Al-Ahly Hospital in Gaza City reported that rescue efforts are ongoing and warned that the death toll may rise as more bodies are recovered.
